The women’s race

The opening day of the Forum will kick off with a morning race. Businesswoman, female politicians, prominent athletes, and St. Petersburg residents who promote a healthy lifestyle will start the 3-km race at 9:00 on 13 October. Alexey Nemov, a four-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics, will take part in the opening and awarding ceremonies.

The women’s race will take place in the picturesque walkways of Tavricheskiy Garden, which is famous for its greenhouse exhibition hall with unique and exotic plants, and also at Tavricheskiy Palace.

The race is free for all participants, and each of them will receive a commemorative medal at the finish line. There will be a concert programme, activity zone, and photo zone. All the necessary sanitary measures will be observed during the event.

The race is being organized by the League of Heroes and will be held with the support of the Russian Federation Council, the Russian Ministry of Sports, the St. Petersburg Government, and the Roscongress Foundation.
