Accreditation rules for media representativesat the third Eurasian Women's Forum 2021


1.General provisions

1.1. Accreditation of media representatives at the third Eurasian Women's Forum 2021 (EAWF) is carried out in order to ensure appropriate conditions for media representatives to prepare and disseminate complete and accurate information about events held as part of EAWF.

1.2. Media accreditation is essential in order to attend and work at any EAWF event.

1.3. While carrying out their work, media representatives must respect the rights and lawful interests of EAWF participants and staff, and comply with generally accepted ethical standards.

1.4. In an effort to ensure the most comfortable working conditions and prompt access to all necessary resources, and in view of the considerable media interest in EAWF and the limited infrastructure capabilities of the event venue (Tavricheskiy Palace), the number of media representatives that EAWF is able to accommodate is limited.

1.5. EAWF will adhere to all COVID-19 safety requirements and recommendations set out by the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor). The EAWF organizing committee reserves the right to set the number of accredited media representatives based on sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

1.6. The EAWF organizing committee reserves the right to determine the format of participation of media representatives in EAWF events.

1.7. Media outlets shall bear responsibility for the accuracy of information provided about their employees in accordance with Russian law.

2. Accreditation of media representatives

Both Russian and international media representatives can apply to participate in EAWF, subject to the following conditions:

The number of permitted media representatives from EAWF media partners will be determined in accordance with their media partnership agreement.

2.3.Submission and review of accreditation applications

Media representatives wishing to cover EAWF events, as well as representatives of specialized and niche publications wishing to cover a specialized event in the EAWF business programme, can submit an accreditation application via the official EAWF website (2021.eawf.ru).

Applicants should complete all fields of the application form, paying particular attention to the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk.

Applications can be submitted via the official EAWF website from 16 August to 1 October 2021.

Please allow at least 10 calendar days from the closing date for your application to be reviewed.

Media accreditation is valid for the entire duration of EAWF.

2.4. Issuing accreditation badges for media representatives

Once their registration application is approved by the organizing committee, media representatives will receive an accreditation badge.

Accreditation badges are issued at accreditation points in St. Petersburg. Information about accreditation point locations and operating hours is published on the official EAWF website.

Accreditation badges may only be issued under the following conditions:

The badge is issued to a specific individual and is not transferable during EAWF. The badge must be clearly displayed at all times while at the EAWF venue.

No other accreditation cards are valid for access to the EAWF venue.

In the event that the accreditation badge is lost, stolen, or damaged, media representatives must immediately notify staff at an information stand. Lost badges will be blocked. A duplicate badge will then be issued upon written application.

2.5. Rules and regulations for access to EAWF events

Media accreditation is essential in order to attend and work at any EAWF event.

Access for media representatives’ technical staff is granted according to the rules regarding technical staff access to the EAWF venue.

Media representatives and media representatives’ technical staff will be granted access to the venue after passing the COVID test. The procedure and details for passing the test will be clarified later. Testing must be carried out exclusively in laboratories accredited by Rospotrebnadzor. Information about accreditation points and testing procedure will be posted on the EAWF official website.
